  • What do I do if I want to return something I ordered?
    We're sorry if the product you ordered isn't quite what you expected (we hope that's never the case!). In line with our Returns & Refunds Policy we are happy to issue a refund if the product is damaged. Or, if the item is unsuitable, please send the item back to us we will issue a refund to you. Always get in touch with us via email in the first instance!
  • Can I purchase books on your website?
    The books we hold in our shop are only sold in store. However, we encourage customers to use our bookshop.org profile to order books, too! We are a small shop and can't stock everything, but really appreciate the support of our local community. You can get there by searching on our books page, or by going to uk.bookshop.org/shop/bookandcard.
  • Can I purchase an item from your website or the shop over the phone?
    At this time we cannot process payments over the phone. If there is a specific item in the shop you want posted to you we can send you a pro-forma invoice to be paid prior to the item being posted. Unfortunately we cannot accept cheques in the post for items ordered over the phone.
  • What can I buy on your website?
    We aren't selling on our website at the moment. Please call into the shop or give us a call on 01770302288 to place an order.
  • Can you stock a book I've had published?
    We are happy to stock self-published books if they're the right fit for our shop. This could depend on the proposed sales terms, if we think the book will sell in our shop, whether or not the book is stocked elsewhere on the island, publishing quality, and fit within our range of books. Please get in touch to discuss (please do not drop off or post books to us unless agreed).
